Our Vision is for a sustainable and transparent global running and sports market. Committed to the planet that we crave to explore.

To achieve this from the very beginning, one of our goals is to give back to the planet as a business. Many people we spoke with said ‘giving away’ revenue as a new business is not commercial, doesn’t make sense…. Opinions eh? Everyone has one.…

We ignored this and from day one we committed to 1% for the planet and to Ecologi. These are our chosen ways to give back to the planet.

We donate 1% of all our sales. That's right, new business, staring at zero - not giving away, contributing positively. 

It's part of our vision and mission. Ecologi - our tree planting partner. Again donating monthly to carbon offset our workforce and planting trees in our Run Legacy forest. Not giving away, contributing. 

What does it mean to be a member of the 1% for the Planet network? 

It means we have joined like minded businesses who believe in the power of collective action through community to address environmental challenges. For us it's more about our stance and our belief that all the businesses we work with see our 1% membership and we make them think.

It's our signal to the industry, to the community that we are prioritising environmental stewardship. We are not giving away, we are choosing to spend a proportion of our revenue on protecting the planet. We believe a small cost and one that can inspire businesses in our industry to follow.

Ecologi - real projects, real impact.

Ecologi is a platform that enables us to take meaningful action by supporting tree planting projects and carbon offset initiatives. Ecologi facilitates the planting of trees in areas that are in need of reforestation, providing us with a direct way to combat deforestation and the detrimental global effects on climate change. We partner with ecologi as it provides us clear transparency and accountability - our forest is a pictorial representation of this : https://ecologi.com/runlegacy . It provides us and our community with a tangible connection so we can see our progress. Ecologi also supports renewable energy projects and community-based initiatives. At our core, being a 1% for the Planet member and growing our Run Legacy forest through Ecologi is about imbedding a commitment to sustainability in all that we do and say. We have invested environmental stewardship into our business model from day one, our decision making processes and everyday operations. 

We recognise that our planet's health is interconnected with our own well being and prosperity and needs to be accounted for, the same as all other business costs. You expect to pay rent or a fee for office space - why not pay for our planet?
