Can Spain pick Portugal up on the way?

Can Spain pick Portugal up on the way?

Ben and I chat about what to write in these spaces. I know -  the content belies that!
Sustainability is very much at the core. What's done right. Who's an Angel. Who's...not.
Paris 2024 is around the corner - 3 years since the 2020 games in 2021.
Would I feel short changed about being Olympic Champion by 25% less?
I'd be giddy just getting to the games...
So, as Paris prepares, I'm taken back to 'Chariots of Fire.'
Heady days. 1924, 5 years before the economic burndown. The story of Harold Abrahams and Eric Liddell. Sport on a Sunday. Scotland versus England. Both Men of deep faith.
Paris 1924 was the first games The Olympic motto, Citius, Altius, Fortius, (Swifter, Higher, Stronger) was introduced.

Ok, that's school over with...

We wondered what is being done to elevate sustainability for these games?
In1924, Great Britain boarded a Ship to travel across The Channel.
Could we do the same 100 years on?
Should we do the same 100 years on?
Should Team GB shine a light on sustainable best practices?
We think so - but in economic headwinds, these choices are more often kicked down the road - aren't they Rishi?!

Ben wondered if Spain could pick Portugal up on the way to Paris?
Could road travel be less CO2 heavy?
There's 30,000 km's of Inland waterways on Mainland Europe - should we be using these better?
Which is the best way to travel to Paris for all of us?

I don't know what the answers are - but I'm going to do some digging on what the IOC, Paris 2024 and Team GB are prepping.
I'll write more on it next time.

For now - here's the official document from Paris 2024.
